Kachin State Civil Society Network (KSCN)

About us:

Kachin State Civil Society Network (KSCN) was founded in 2014 with a membership of CSOs from Kachin State. KSCN is a network and functions as both a coordination and a project implementation body. KSCN is not a registered organization as the team is made up of representatives from network member organizations. Currently, KSCN has 54 member organizations and is contributing policy consultations to Kachin State CSO forum, which is a parallel forum to the 21st century Panglong peace conference, and focus on advocacy and networking; and policy review and advocacy. Their main objective is to support organizational development, information sharing, and the development of effective laws and public policy in Kachin State.

Under the DPP, KSCN does not implement activities in the field, but they regularly facilitate meetings between 55 CBOs and CSOs working in Kachin State.
