Kachin Relief and Development Committee (KRDC) was established in 1994 to work for the rehabilitation and development of Kachin Society. However, in 2005 KRDC became a more structured organization and started working together with other NGOs and INGOs, such as Metta Development Foundation, Nyein (Shalom) Foundation, Eco-Dev, and NEHC.
